2. Editorial Independence & Integrity
Ontario Press Media adheres strictly to the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ) Code of Ethics and is a proud member of the National NewsMedia Council of Canada. Our investigative reporting, financial intelligence, and technology analyses operate with total editorial independence. Commercial partnerships, advertising relationships, and corporate sponsorships do not dictate or influence our editorial judgments.
3. Intellectual Property & Syndication Rights
All content, headlines, analyses, photographic journalism, visual graphics, trademarks, and codebases displayed across Ontario Press Media properties are the exclusive intellectual property of Ontario Press Media Inc. or its licensed content contributors.
- Fair Dealing: Brief excerpts may be quoted with explicit attribution and a direct canonical hyperlink to the original article on an OPM property.
- Commercial Syndication: Bulk reproduction, data scraping, automated harvesting, or ingestion into AI training corpora without an express commercial licensing agreement is strictly prohibited.
4. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any legal proceeding arising from these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of the City of Toronto, Ontario.
